I love to do gardening. I plant a vegetable garden and a flower garden every spring. I plant a huge vegetable garden. I get enough veggies for the whole winter. I plant corn and I freeze it. I plant cucumbers and I pickle them and make relish. I plant beets and I pickle them and freeze some for beet soup. I plant beans, yellow and green and I jar those and freeze some for soup. I plant carrots and again jar some and freeze some. I plant potatoes and store them in paper and put them in my cold room in the basement. I plant peas and freeze them. I plant onions and store them the same way as my potatoes. And then I plant things for my salads, lettuce and green onions, that don't keep in the winter. Oh yeah, I plant tomatoes and can them. I also make them into soup and juice and can them. I make salsa and jar that. So, yeah I love to garden and it sure makes the groceries a lot cheaper, even all winter.

I do not have extra land for gardening, but we have a lot of open space groud being tiled. On some portion of open to sky area, we have kept around 40 pots plated with exotic plants and flowering plants. It really takes time and it requires care to grow them and take care of them. But the labour is really worth when you really see them growing and yield flowers.

I love gardening, we have a very big garden and it's a lot of work keeping it nice. Even in the Winter I am busy gardening, always plenty to do, digging, cutting down and raking up all the leaves that have fallen. It is also good exercise. I don't like mowing the lawns very much, but I don't mind digging and planting. I also like to grow organic vegetables which have no chemicals or spray on them. Yes gardening is a great activity.

Hehehe! Gardening makes you more careful and confident? Hehehe! Ok! Yeah, I can see how it could do that, now that I think about it. Funny, I never thought of it in that way.
You have to be careful with little seedlings and when you're walking in places where you've just planted stuff. And it DOES inspire confidence when something you planted starts to grow, and the garden starts looking as beautiful as you pictured it because of the things you've planted and the work you've done.
Is that what it is for you, or is it in some other ways?
