i go to the old age home on special occasions to distribute sweets & gifts among them. i feel sorry for those people who are left by their own children at this juncture of life when these old people need them the most. so i used to do whatever little i can to make them happy & give them a few moments to cheer up & smile. what i used to do is that i go to different old age homes on special occasions like festivals( Christmas,new year's eve,thanksgiving,independence day etc.)& my birthday to celebrate the special occasion with them,make them smile by sharing my love,care,sweets & gifts with them & thus getting their heartfelt,genuine blessings in return which is so important in anybody's life

All I can do is just being with them ,talking,singing,and having some fun.

I worked in Home Health Care and used to take care of old people on a daily basis. I also used to work in a nursing home as well. Helping them on a daily basis gave me a great deal of satifaction because I felt like I was making a difference.
