do you lnow about identical twins? or twins are always identical??

twins always tend to have some similar qualities. most of the time their appearance, the way they walk, talk, seat & behave used to have some similarities.in my neighborhood there are two pairs of twin who are quite similar, you can even describe them as identical twins... not only that they are look alike,but also their walking,talking style,behavior are the same,their voice is similar,even you cannot differentiate them from their personality,their IQ level is the same,they score same marks in school..not only that moreover they even share similar likes & dislikes for everything...clothes,music,food,movies,sports etc. they even dress alike,keep same hair style..they are identical twins in true sense of the word. and these twins are one pair is of girl twin sisters & another is of guy twin brothers...

Twins aren't always identical. There are also fraternal twins who are born at the same time, but are very different and can be different genders. Basically, identical twins come from the same egg and for some reason it splits into 2 zygotes instead of just being 1 and developing from there. Fraternal twins happens when the mothers body sends 2 eggs to the uterus at the same time. Both of them are fertilized and develop together.
The whole thing with the identical twins acting so alike doesn't really have to do with them being twins. It's because parents foster that whole "look alike, act alike, think alike" thing. They buy them identical clothes and get their hair cut the same way. When they get older, they tend to assert more of their individuality and it's much easier to tell them apart.

Great answer, Wiccania! I was just about to say they're not always identical, and my twin cousins, for instance, are so different (not only looks, but EVERYTHING) that don't even seem brothers at all.
And I have a friend that has two brothers that are identical twins, and she has a twin brother herself, but obviously a fraternal twin.
So I guess identical twins are actually hard to find!

Well there are unidentical twins... I have friends who are twins. They are my friends in high school. and they are not identical. They are both girls but they actually look the opposite. One is fair while the other has a dark color. One is a lot prettier than the other. And their attitudes are really different from each other.

Maybe to some, they same many similarities. I have twin daughters and they are now teenagers. I find their attitudes different from each other. The way they walk, stand and face in front of many people. They have different likes and dislikes and have different crushes, too. They don't possess the same talents, the elder is sporty while the other is girlish.The other one is introvert while the other is extrovert.

my younger brothers are twins.when they were chirldren,they worn the same clothes and had same hair sytle,but now they look a little different,because they live in different environment i think.
