I'm a public high school science teacher here in the Philippines. But i want to try my luck and teach the apple country. I believe, i'm qualified, passed the board/licensure examination here, but i know there are are certification required in order to teach in US. Like passing the Praxis, FAST or CBEST. I'm pretty sure, i can pass this exam, given a chance. But, as every one encounters... financial problem. To be able to apply here in the Philippines, you will submit all the credentials to an agency. Pay fees for the assessment, seminars and credentialing. After that, if you are schedule for an interview, another fee to be given. Many of my co-teachers had applied and fortunately, 2 are already in Baltimore,Maryland. Of course they are lucky, because they have children abroad who supported them with the financial matters.
So, my query now is: Is there anyone who know sponsor(s) or sponsoring teachers to teach in the United States? Please help me... Thanks!
