Why is one rapist better than the other?

From reading other threads and just watching the way Days is playing out, why is that one person who is rapist is the town crook and the other is now being accepted by some other parties, particularly the one who got raped.
It's making me angry everytime I watch the show and Sami is being buddy-buddy and trying to save EJ's life. She should want him to pay for raping him. Everyone else brings up the fact that EJ raped her and the other characters are mad about it except Sami. That doesn't make sense.
Then, we have Ford Deck, a character no one cares about because we never vested any interest in him. He's the baddest of the bad on this show. He's miserable and angry. The one good deed he did was take his shirt off to get the charity auction going. However, now he is the scum of the Earth and only his rich daddy wants him alive.
I feel like Days is trying really hard to redeem EJ. Let's make him look like a victim now for being paralyzed. He's incredibly happy because Sami is in love with him and the world is grand.
Sorry, ths makes me so cranky.

I agree that Sami should be more upset and hurt that she gotten raped by Ej Wells. Instead of marring him. I don't know marring him would change anything for her family in the first place I could just it making it ten times that much more worse.

Well, for the storyline they are trying to play out, I guess they needed her to marry him. But I think any sane person would have not married him and let their family try to keep each other safe.
But this is a soap opera where reality doesn't matter.
Another question, I have thought about. Couldn't Sami have sued for full custody of Johnny saying that EJ had no right to the child because she was raped. Or does that go out the window because she never reported the rape?

I'm guessing there's slim to none chance that if she would tell the courts that she had been raped that he'd be able to keep the baby since she was pregnant with two babies at the same time. But who only knows.

I don't think we have Sami Raped over here on our Days of Our Lives yet but Heaven Help the Day that they put it on this TV especially the getting Married to EJ who ever EJ is. Since I don't recognise EJ's name then I guess that must mean that we must a bit off that happening.
I just have to say HEAVEN HELP THE DAY THAT COMES ON OUR SCREENS. This a thing that is getting worse and worse in Our Country if they Kill them off straight after they do it of course.
I am soooo soooo sorry to hear about Sami making such a STUPID choice. I have a full Family who I know who have worn it, not my Kids but a Family I know.

Sorry to ruin it for you. EJ has been on the show for about a year, maybe more, so you have a while to go.
All I can say is brace yourself.

OK, I see your point. I also understand how alot of people just can't hate EJ for the same reasons they hate Decker. EJ has been on the show for a while, and until they revealed who he was everyone found him charming. Being a DiMera kind of put a damper on that for those people who couldn't see past the fake personality he was exhibiting prior.
Sadly, I like EJ. I hate what he did to Sami and why he did it. They have her character forgiving him in not so many ways. She says she doesn't love or figve him, but she wouldn't have tried to "save" her family, or be making out with him just to give him the will to live. I figure if she can forgive him, so can I.

That's what annoys me. Why is Sami forgiving him? She was raped once before. It's not like she's ok with it now because it happened before. Screw that. I want to see her fight for herself, fight for her family.
Honestly, I feel like marrying EJ was the easy way out.
