Hello laurika. I would like to talk about the way I learned English grammar when I was still a senior high school student after I had learned English for three years at high school. I started to show interest in English grammar when my English teacher was using in class an English grammar book written by a very famous Chinese English expert in English grammar. I bought one as well, and ever since I had the grammar book, I did a lot of reading, mainly memorizing work on the grammar rules and all of the sentences listed as examples. I used to read the English sentences and translate them into English and vice versa. If I could not do a good job, I would recite it till I know how to write or say it next time when I would meet it again. This way, I read and recited four grammar books in all, which were very thick with hundreds of pages in the book. It was interesting to me to learn English grammar as I had great interest in it. There goes the saying goes, "Interest is the greatest teacher". So I am sure that my dear laurika would be able to learn English grammar well so long as you find your way and show your keen interest in it. Happy learning, dear friend.

I keep a pocket dictionary next to me most of the time while on Mylot, so that I can look up words like, lying or dying, and know how to spell them correctly. I have problems with grammar and punctuation also. But, I won't beat myself up about it. I simply do the best that I can.
