Lately, I've been getting really good sleep. Don't know why. I've been sleeping with the air conditioner on at night. I know it's kind of weird to sleep with the air conditioner on during the fall. But, it's been really hot here. Most times I wake up well rested and ready to go.
Getting to sleep is another matter. It's almost impossible for me to fall asleep. But, once I do, I am fine. About once every few weeks, I have the worst sleep. I'll go to sleep for three hours and then get woken up by some loud noise outside and then find it impossible to go back to sleep. During those times I do lots of house cleaning and My Lot time.
Do you always get a good night's rest? What helps you get better sleep?

Hello dear beauty queen. It is nice to hear that you have been getting really good sleep all these days when you have your air-conditioner on. I think that the air-conditioner might be a great help as an enhancement in your having a good sleep.
I can always have a so-called good sleep, but I could sleep earlier at night before eleven, it would be better for me as I would sleep a longer time before I get up before seven in the morning. My best sleep is usually during my days off when I don't have to hurry to work. I miss my days off.
Thanks so much for your discussion, dear beauty queen.

Good evening, Williamjisir! Or, is it morning time in your area of the world? Here in the states it is close to midnight and I am just posting a few last comments. Yes, most certainly it would be better for me, as well, if I could only go to sleep earlier. I have told myself this many times. Hopefully you will get some more days off work to enjoy extra sleep and time with family. Best wishes for a most productive day. Be well my friend. And, thanks for taking time to drop by and chat.

Sadly speaking, I have not been getting good night sleeps recently. I have been dreaming a lot. I always get awakened by my dreams. Even though I've been sleeping at least 7-8 hours a day, my sleeps are not quality sleeps. I always feel very tired in the mornings despite having sleep for 7-8 hours. I try many techniques to make myself tired in the hope that I will not dream so much but all failed. I guess I should try not to think too much and just sleep.

It is good for you that you always have a good night's sleep because I and most of my friends can't manage it because we sleep very late and compensate for it during the boring lectures our professors in the class.apparently most of them don't seem to care . So it is not a big issue if some body catches you sleeping during a lecture, but some of them avenge it during the time to give internal marks :)

I always have to have a ceiling fan on and covers no matter how hot (and we live in the South kind of hot). I always watch tv and I recently read that lights and tv on are the worst things for you. It stops your body from producing melatonin. I am such a light sleeper.

I only average about 4 to 5 hours sleep a night. I toss and turn and I get up atleast once in the night (wee hours of the morn). I have been doing this for about 4 years so I am used to it. I am an early riser and usually out of bed at latest 6 am. Don't remember what it was like to sleep all night lol.

Hi!beautyqueen
I normally have a good sleep. On very rare occasions when something worries me I just toss and turn. But even then I cant get out of bed and do things like you.No wonder you are able to do so many postings.Hats off to you.I never sleep during the day. When I tuck myself into my cosy bed I just read for a while maybe 5-10 minutes and then I hit the pillow and there I am.Thank God,I know how many people long for a good night's sleep. My hubby has sleeping problems and I know how he keeps envying me.I dont go to work, for people who go to work if they dont sleep well at night I know how miserable they would feel during the day.I wish I knew what helps me get better sleep atleast I would be able to help my poor husband who suffers so much due to lack of sleep. To have a good night's sleep is really a bliss.Have a good night's sleep,my friend and feel good.

I always manages to get a nice sound sleep every night..!
7-8 hours sleep.
I can almost give up every thing for my sleep..!!
Even studies...:P I am having my exams right now and I still can't stay awake in night to study a little bit.
Day before yesterday we had an earthquake in here .... will you belive the first thought came to my mind was.."ohh now I have get out this cozy bed..why cant I stay in bed for a while and see if this earthquake comes again so that I can run out of house after wards!! "
ha ha ha ..!!
I just love my sleep a lot.
But I only love to sleep at nights. But some people also loves to take a nap in afternoon too.

The last night I really got a nice nights sleep was Sunday night when I came back to school. I only got a good night's sleep because I only got about three hours of sleep the night before and was exhausted by the time midnight rolled around so I crashed. I have a hard time falling or staying asleep most nights. So, any good night of sleep, or a night where I manage not to toss and turn and wake up all the time is a good night's sleep for me.

Hi,there! I had a good sleep the night before last. I didn't sleep too well this week.I don't know why. Maybe it's because I haven't adjust myself to the best state.Usually I can fall asleep easily and I'm not easy to be bothered. I usually sleep a little bit late in the evening cause I've already used to that and couldn't fall asleep even if I go to bed earlier. But I really like get up late in the morning and I enjoy the morning sleep:) I like drinking a cup of milk before I go to bed which helps me sleep. When it's hot in summer,I also would like to sleep while the airconditioner is on.I can't sleep without it cause it's too hot. I enjoy the cool feeling and the quiet atmospher.LOL! Thanks for the dicussion and have a good day!

Last night! I have never had problems sleeping, regardless of the circumstances in my life. Despite a day's activities or the events in my life, before I go to sleep, I turn everything into the hands of the Lord and simply I go to sleep; and not only do I sleep, I rest. I often sleep with backgroung noise, and when I am asleep, I am asleep! Nothing but a true emergency such as a baby crying, a sick person or fire will wake me up! I can sleep and rest through anything, and without the help of any tranquilizer! I simply trust and rest in the Lord.

I used to have sleeping problems myself. I had insomnia for some time. Lately, I have been getting a good night sleep and that happened when I started eating sensibly. I cut down my consumption on carbonated drinks and coffee. At least I drink coffee in the morning only. It helps. There's really nothing better than a good night sleep don't you agree?
