Not the prettiest of sights believe me ! As much as we try to keep it light, there is this whole luggage that you gotta take along while traveling with a toddler and i don;t what is it with that age, they just wont sit ! Just came back from a trip with my 19 month old and wish the trauma ( if you can call it that) is still fresh in my mind. while the whole trip was enjoyable, the flight part of it makes me swear I don't want to go anywhere in near future. She won't sleep and she won't sit. Although it was a short flight of four hours, it felt like ages before we landed. Anybody else here who has had a similar experience ?

i know it is not at all a very good experinece flying with a toddler. More so when the child is over active. I found it quite funny to. Myself and my freind were coming back to my hometown from workplace in flight. there was a toddler sitting on the front row of ours. all through the flight she was peeping at her and was standing on the sit. then she started to cry suddenly as she wanted a chocolate. so i understand how terrible it is.

Ugh, that sounds terrible. I'm scared of flying so I've never had to experience that but a friend of mine is moving out of the country and has flown back and forth with her kids trying to get everything ready. It sounds soooo difficult! And I'm sure it's hard on the kids too, especially one that young.
Here's something my friend wrote before their first trip. I hope it helps! http://ourfamilyvillage.com/flying-with-kids-airplane-travel-planning/
