I think my cell phones are cursed!

Seriously! I am really beginning to think that the cell phones I got with the family plan I picked out are either cursed, or just plain unlucky. It all started with my phone and my hubby's phone during the very first week that we had them. Both his and mine would freeze up every once in a while....mine when I would try to download a picture, and hubby's whenever he would dial a number. Fortunately, it was during the first month of service, so the replacements were free. Then, the next phone my hubby had, which was the same model, got messed up just sitting in his pocket. Some how the front screen went haywire, and it looked like a great big daffodil was in the screen. So he filed a claim with the company to replace it and we had to fork over $50 in order to get it. After that, my ex's pit bull puppy managed to get hold of my daughter's phone, and chew the heck out of it....there were even teeth marks in the battery! But that was no big deal, since I (the selfish mommy that I am) had just bought the new KRAZR from Verizon, and I decided to give my daughter my old phone and have all of her stuff transferred from the old phone. This was just a few days ago too. So everything was all good...until today. my daughter had her phone in one of the pockets of her back pack, and it was setting next to her desk. She got up to go to a different part of the classroom, and she thinks that's when the phone was stolen out of her backpack. She noticed it missing right before the end of class, but no one would 'fess up, and the teacher hadn't seen anything. My daughter told me about it when I picked her up from school, and right then for about a half hour, I called the phone constantly. First I called from my cell, then I called from my main house phone (even did the *67 thing), and then I called from my other house phone. That whole time, the phone would ring 4 times and go to her voice mail, and I called from the different phones about 10 times each. The third time I called from the second house phone, whoever had the cell must have turned it off mid ring, because it went dead, and after that, it would go straight to voicemail. Just before that, I had texted as well stating that I wouldn't press charges if the phone was returned to the school office. I must have scared them or something. So now that phone is turned off (by Verizon), and I had to make another claim and fork over ANOTHER $50 to get a replacement. Keep your fingers crossed that nothing else happens, since we are only allowed to make two claims a year on the phone insurance. If anything else does happen, I think I'm going to SCREAM! LOL! Sorry this is so drawn out....but I needed to vent a bit. Thanks for listening...er...I mean reading. Hugs to all!

I could say the same for my phones too but most of my friends and family would laugh then because everybody knows that my cell finishes on the floor at least 3 times a week so after a year, year and a half if I am lucky I have to change the phone. That's why I always buy the simplest ones, no camera, no blue tooth no IR or things like that. No point in paying a lot for a phone and then breaking all these things and having the phone with simplest functions for a lot of money. I know that's my fault and I really try to take better care of my phone but it alway somehow gets to the floor.
