Friendship between financial disparity

More and more people prefer to make friends with the rich ones. Do you think friendship should be with financial disparity?
I think friendship can be without it. people make friends with others for many things, financial is just one feature.
I'd like to make friemds with anyone who is friendly to me.

i agree with you that the wealth is just one feature.
i like to make friends with someone who have the sense of humor and keep the good value of life, this is very improtant for the real friendship.

For me I really dont have rich friends and i dont use that criteria in choosing my friends. Funny enough most of my friends are the ones who chose me by themselves and not because am rich but because am friendly and fun to be around. I am one person who makes friends easily without struggle. Only the materialistic people choose friends who are rich.
