I need money...

I too need money. I actually found a part time call center job and I'm planning to apply for it just for additional cash. I work twice a week and earn reasonably well as a speech pathologist since the hourly rate isn't that bad. However, because of the unpredictable weather, the kids I treat are not coming to their therapy sessions with me hence I don't get paid. I decided to apply for this temporary job from Dec 14 - Jan 6. The pay is good but I have to work on Christmas at the New Year. Along with this, I started a little home-based business selling toys and generic gifts to my friends and colleagues. I know that it's really difficult when one doesn't have a job. So knowing you didn't have one why did your friend ask you? All this internet things are very good but if you don't find yourself at least 10 referrals willing to work a lot you can't earn more then 2 to 5 dollars per month and I doubt this amount would help you. I've been a student all my life and a par from a few seasonal jibs I have never head a real job so I know how it is not to have money. I mean, I am not hungry but I can't afford any luxuries except food and the usual things. If you want send me an e-mail and I will tell you all the ways I make money.

Hi there I think you should not be upset, your friend knows you help as much as you can. But wanting a job just to help out your friend, I think then your friend should be the one to find a job. If it is just a bit more financial space you are talking about, then why don't you try to find something. Good luck

It is not easy to be jobless and the fact that you can't help others when you really want to. Of course, you have to look into the fact if your friend has other means of acquiring the money. For example, if she has a job and if she can ask help from someone else. Don't give up in looking for a job. When there's a will there's a way and you can always make things happen as long as you set your heart into it and take the action! Believing in yourself that you can face the challenges. Don't be too choosy with the job that you apply but make sure to be open to changes. Good luck!
