A LARGE number of laws are based on people being married. A couple can get tax
benefits by filing a joint return. Financial matters such as inheritence use
direct bloodline and marriage to decide who gets what.
Many people do divorce, but equally as many stay together. We just do it quietly,
so it isn't news. Marriage is a promise you make to the person you love.

well i guess marriage is a scared thing.though there are many people who take undue advantage of marriage, but all are not like them.if one gets married to the right person, then life looks to be more beutiful than ever.one can always find a person by his or side to support,to love,to give shoulder to cry.one never feels alone when married with the right person.however the oppostie happens when married to a wrong person.many people do not respect and understand the importance of marriage and because of which they go for divorce later on.for these people love is like a boundation.the only point is get married to one who loves you.

of course its important... the reason why there are a lot of broken family, annulment cases and the like because people just don't take the importance of marriage seriously :-)
