I have a sister who I think may be bipolar. Some days everything makes her mad, and other days nothing bothers her and she is going a hundred miles an hour. She has told me she thinks there may be something wrong, but has no medical insurance, and is a single parent to three kids. She is a waitress, and just moved to a safe house after her ex-husband tried to run over her, meaning that she is basically out of a job for now. This complicated the already bad problem. my question is, is there anywhere she can go for help, and what can I do to help. I would pay for her to go to the doctor, but I can't as I have 4 kids of my own to take care of.

Is there any way that she can get government help? Maybe Medicaid or something? With three kids, she definately needs to find help!

In Oklahoma you have to make less than $900 a month to be eligible for Medicaid if you are over 21, regardless of whether or not you have dependents. Since she was working until last week when the incident with her husband, and she only has 30 days to find a job and a place to live (shelter standars), she still won't be eligible. Even at min wae a person makes more than that.
