Wayne Holmes gathered great compilation of stories that will greatly inspired teachers to continue their service to the students. The author were able to present all the mixed emotions of teachers: triumph and defeat, laughter and tears. This book really touches my feelings as mentor. The role of teacher to the students. That is, love, inspiration, wisdom, strength and encouragement.
If you haven't read this book, and you are a teacher/mentor, i greatly commend this book. It will surely touch you, as i was affected reading it. So to all co-mentors, buy this book and share it.

Hi Emilyn. It's good to know that there are teachers like you who are devoted to teaching really.
It's good to be a wide reader as a mentor. The book you are recommending is good. But the best book that affected millions of people by a change of life for the best is the BIBLE.
You'll come to know to be a mentor with a servants heart!! Happy mentoring my friend.

Thanks for the response!
As christian, i think no book can ever replace The Holy Bible. It is the best book, where many people read but unfortunately failed to integrate in their lives the teachingson it.
Well, the book i recommend is also a nice book to read. Especially to those mentors who are about to retire. By reading this, they will ralize the worth of the profession they chose. Very inspiring...

Yeah, i agree with you. But i need not to buy the book anymore because i experienced it myself whenever i am with my students. That in order for our students to understand the lessons we taught, we must show them that we love them, we care for them and that they ar important to us. That's why when we praise them, they feel confident and they become more interested in the lessons. There must be reciprocation, a mutual understanding between the teacher and the learner. Then that's the time we can say that we have transferred learning effectively. Thanks
