Yes, you read that right. There was someone who had their life saved by poop. A grandmother contracted an almost always fatal superbug and was save by an infusion of pureed poop from her granddaughter.

that's ridiculous, i wouldn't eat crap EVEN if my life depended on it! i would rather die than eat poo.

She didn't eat it. They put it down a feeding tube IIRC.
