How often do you do your laundry? I just cannot see my dirty clothes piling up I need to do it every other day.

You must have a large family like my sister did, she had 8 kids. I only have to do laundry twice a week, but there is the occasional extra load, but that is all I do. And each day is about 2-3 loads depending on how many times my daughter/son changes their clothes..lol

I do my laundry 1 or 2 times a week. We keep big, lidded hampers in our house, so having dirty laundry laying around isn't a huge problem.

I do laundry twice a week for a family of three (me, my husband, and my 13-month-old daughter) but I don't do all the wash on once. I'll start a load in the morning, then leave for awhile, come home and start another one, etc. Lately I've been forgetting loads in the washer though, and when I finally remember to go down and put them in the dryer they smell musty, so I have to wash them again! I've decided that it would be better for me to do all my laundry on Tuesday, when I'm home all day, and to just do one load after another instead of starting one in the morning, and then another in the afternoon, and one before bed, ect. As soon as one load finishes I'll put that one in the dryer and start another one washing. Once the first load is dry, I'll immediately fold it and put it away, put the second load in the dryer, and a new one in the washer. That way none of our clothes will sit around for long periods of time waiting to be put into the dryer or folded and put away. My problem is with a toddler in the house, I often intend to do something, but then get busy with her instead. Oh well, I'm going to give it a try and see how it goes. It would be nice to have everything done in one day instead of letting it pile up.

i wash my basic clothes on a day to day basis & for bigger clothes i choose a holiday or week end off to clean them...like shirts, pants, tea shirts etc... i need to wash my bed sheet & pillow cover once in a week. i want to maintain complete hygiene,so tries to keep everything clean. giant clthes i give to the laundryman for washing as well as ironing & the smaller ones i wash at home in the machine, rarely by hand.but i need to change my socks daily,so wash them on an everyday basis.for different types of clothes i use different bars, washing powders etc. for woolen clothes i use eazy & for white clothes ujala .. i am a cleanliness freak, so frequent laundry is a must for me...
