Do you call it a blessing? Or, merely consider it good luck or coincidence?

When something good happens in your life, do you consider it to be a blessing, good Carma, good luck or just a happy coincidence? How do you see spontaneous good fortune?
Most times when something good happens in my life, I would consider it a blessing. My daughter is a blessing. She's certainly not a coincidence. And, while it's true that she has brought me lots of good luck, I would consider her more of a blessing.
When something good happens in your life, like a job promotion or raise, how do you view it? Do you say that you are blessed or just consider it a reward for working hard?

I don't, personally, believe in coincidence. It seems to me that everything happens for a reason. By living life aware of Karma a person is more likely to realize reason why things have happened.
I don't believe that good Karma brings about job promotions or the birth of a child. That has more to do with how one lives their life. We do receive blessings based on the choices we make in our life. And boy am I glad we do. I, too have a wonderful blessing in my precious son.

That is wonderful to hear. Children are the greatest joy, aren't they?

Most of the time when I have something GOOD happen to me, I attribute it to plain ol' Luck. Like winning something, finding things etc. But for raises or promotioms I view it at hard work and effort and a little luck in there to.
Some people can bust there buns, be the best person for the promotion, and still get over looked (may be bad luck or political )

There's nothing that we receive which is not given to us and who else gives but God the Father of lights. We should be grateful for whatever we receive and if we suffer, we should be patient and pray always and wait for whatever God may bestow upon us.

I don't call it anything. Or rather, I don't really care what I call it as long as it happens LOL
Blessing, good luck, coincidence, rewards for hard work, I guess there are enough of each and if just some happen to me, I'm not really going to think what to call it, I'll just enjoy it :)
No, really, I have learned to just enjoy the good things that happen to me - specially since lately there haven't been that many-. Are they blessings or rewards? Coincidences? I don't really know, I'm just happy they happen .

When something good happens to me, my first thoughts usually go something like this: "It's about time" and "What's going to go wrong?"!
I am grateful for good things to happen. I don't consider it a blessing or luck or anything, I don't really think about things like that. But when things go wrong, I make myself feel better by reminding me of the good things that have happened to me!

Well I don’t think everything good is a blessing for me. Most of it is my good luck. For anything to be thought of as a blessing, it has to be something that would have a life-long positive impact on me and my surroundings (just like the example of your daughter). For everything less important which happens often and brings a smile to me face, its my good luck.

For the things you mentioned I always call them blessings. I don't believe in luck or karma at all, because I think everything happens for a reason. I believe God is watching over me, and every blessing comes from above. Even when bad things happen, I consider it a blessing that I have such a Higher Power leading me through the storms. : )

When something good happens to me I consider it a blessing. Good luck is a blessing.
And whe na bad thing happens to me, I try to understand why. Maybe it's not something bad, it was just not ment to be.
for instance, my next job (If I get it) is a blessing. They came knocking on my door when I was about to stars sending CV everywhere, he he he.
=)

Life has its own methodologies of moving.
I feel the hymn from the Rig Veda the bets in this regard.I simply am of the notion that whatever we are bound to get is just an outcome of all that has been done in the lifetime.May be there are some stuffs of dependencies factor from the prior births as well.
