What do you do for families in need at Christmas time?

For the past five christmas' I've sponsored families, donated to toys for tots, visited childrens shelters, anything i can do to help someone that has almost nothing to there name I try to do. Im just curious as to what other people do. Maybe get some new ideas.
i've thought about baking items and visiting a nursing home sometime around the holidays. What do you think?

think that is a good idea. ive taken my animals to the nursing home before, and they love it. they appreciate every second of it

Awesome. I just feel like i do pretty much the same thing every year, and of course i dont want to change that. More like add to it... You can never give enough. If i were in a similar situation i would love for someone to do the same for me.
thats too cute about taking your animals to the nursing home, i bet that was a blast.
