I remember years ago, when he was in college studying to be a pharmacist, my uncle told all us kids about taking coke syrup (not the diluted kind in bottles or cans) and pouring it over rats' teeth. The teeth rotted. I've never forgotten that. I don't drink many carbonated drinks at all. I prefer water or iced tea. And I'm sure it's not limited to only Coke. There are many other uses for Coke, and I'd rather clean my driveway, battery terminals or anything rather than drink it.

It will also eat through a raw calf liver when poured on it, and it gets oil out of clothing in the laundry.

It really does quench my thirst better than water or tea. Maybe that's because I've drunk it for so many years. And I love the taste.

It is an addiction, they do it for taste. I enjoy it myself. I know it can be unhealthy. I do watch what I eat and stuff. I guess drinking soda is one of my downfalls. Otherwise it is pretty healthy. Thanks for responding.

Wow, I didn't know that. I wonder if it helps get it out of your clothing also. I have bloody noses a lot due to sinus problems and would like to see if it would work.

Did you know that there are 17 teaspoons of sugar in a 20oz bottle of coke?
Just thought this would make you think before you drink too :)

Your natural stomach acid is much stronger that coke. So, it doesn't do anything to your stomach.
