I do prefer the white meat to the dark.
Besides, even when white meat is a little dry, it can be buttered and slapped on a sandwich. I suppose that doesn't do one much good if he/she is eating white meat for the low fat aspect of it, but oh well. It's yummy!

My favorite is the dark meat. It is not that I don't like the white...but I agree sometimes it can be on the dry side. Either way turkey and chicken are foods I really do enjoy...like many other people!

Hi,i can only eat the white meat.I do not like dark meat for some odd reason and will ask if something is made with dark or white meat if i order a meal like a hot chicken,if it is dark i will then pay the extra $1.00 or so just to have the white meat, haha.

My favorite part of the chicken is the wing, but to be honest I never really thought about which it was - white or dark meat. If I can't have the wing, then I'll take a leg any day and I know that's dark meat. Lol!!

in Chicken or poultry.. I prefer the dark meat. The reason why I like the dark meat is because the dark meat tends to be more moisty..So if given a choice, I usually grab the drumsticks or thighs. I also love eating the wings.

This is a big deal to me.. I can only eat white meat! turkey chicken it has to be the white meat.. when its thanksgiving my husband has to seperate the tureky meats on seprate platters so that i can dig throught hte white meat without having to have the darl meat... for me id rather have dry white meat then moist dark meat.. i have this issues with eating meat off a bone and the dark meat is the meat closest to the bone... so i dont touch it.,.

I love white meat and I find dark meat too greasy for my taste. I do not mind the white being too dry because then I can use sauces with it, and if I eat it with gravy and potatoes, or in a Chinese dish, it is quite good. I do not get that much of it as it is more expensive especially in that form that we do not dare mention its name on myLot.

I prefer dark meat, for the very reason that white meat is usually too dry for me. Although, baked chicken that is white meat usually has enough tenderness for me to enjoy it. I know dark meat has more fat, so if I do eat the dark meat, I don't eat as much as I would if I had been eating white meat instead.

i prefer both light or white meat as well as the dark meat in chicken/poultry as both have their benefits & positive aspects to them. health authorities have long advocated choosing white meat because it contains less fat & fewer calories. but we should not forget that dark meat contains more iron, zinc, riboflavin, thiamine, and vitamins b6 & b12 than white meat.so both are beneficial in their own ways, & i enjoy them both.
