The way things are going right now in the NBA, the Celtics are in a good position for a good or a better showing than last season. Their win-loss standing shows they're a contender for a championship. But it's still early to tell. I'm still rooting for San Antonio Spurs.
What do you guys think?

I root for Houstan Rockets.TM and Yao have a good health to lead the team to go further in the playoffs.Though their shows are not very stable in the past November, they do really better in the beginning of December. And I hope the great tendency will last for a long time,as long as possible, untill to the final game,to the champion game,to get the champion rings.SF shew his outstanding talent even having only few minutes in the playing ground,he is something when Rocket happens to face trouble terribly.

Golden State Warriors! They had a slow start but are one of the hottest teams right now. They play with a lot of emotion and once they get in the zone they can beat anyone.

I like the Celtics, I have always been a fan of Paul Pierce and the added pieces on the Celtics make them dangerous to anyone in the Eastern Conference as well as the league as a whole. My favorite team though is the Golden State Warriors and I will continue to root for them regardless of whether or not other teams are getting better. It is exciting to know that there are a lot of good teams in the league though.

ill tell you guys something hands down if dirk didnt choke everytime at the playoffs they would have ran the league, has any seen him play when hes good, he makes 3s like there a joke and his inside hustle is formidable. sad to say for now i dont think they will be going anywhere this year. another team thats fun to watch are the suns tell me nash isnt the best in the leauge. the only reason he isnt nuber one is because he doesnt shoot much shots anymore he raises the stats for his team mates which is better then being greedy like all other guys. am i right or am i right?

Yes you're absolutely right. Nash is the best point guard in the league today, I think. But if they don't raise the level of their play comes playoff time, it would be difficult. There are a lot of teams who are formidable, like the Celtics.
I'm still rooting for my San Antonio Spurs!

you are right. it is still early to tell. but there are early favorites like boston and san antonio as the defending champion. however, i am a fan of new jersey nets. so i hope they do better than last year when they advanced until the second round only. i hope the nets stay healthy this year. if they do, they are certainly a contender too.
