I was visiting a friend of mine the other day and on my way to her condo I was stopped by someone who lets just say hasnt lived a great life, she said Pastor I think God is punishing me because only bad stuff happens to me. I was thinking to myself God has no intention of making life bad for anyone, Why is it when life is good people are grateful and they praise him, but when life is bad he is making it bad for them. They would rather blame God than be responsible for what they have done. Everyone should take a long hard look at themselves. Tell me what you think.

It's easy to blame God.But i think they blame God because he ain't doing anything to help people find their way back.
That's the way i feel it.Though i am lucky but also not lucky with some things in my life.
So i don't see it as punishment but more like the society makes us human suffer and not God.But God is almighty and sometimes i think God its time ot make an and to this all and just destroy this world and make a normal good world for everyone.\
But that's just simple thinking i know it will not be that way. It's more wishfull thinking.

He does give you the tools to find your way back, but because of free will he is not going to hold anyone's hand and lead them back, once you choose him you will see all the great things he promises for his believers and the miracles will happen. He loves and takes care of everyone.

On this one I totally agree with you. In my view we are all spiritual beings going through human experiences to learn lessons that will grow our souls and lead to more enlightened living. In my view God is a being of pure light and love who gave us life...and free will to be born into a world that is filled with a variety of opportunities. We may not be able always be able to choose WHAT happens...but we sure can choose HOW we will respond to the circumstances. Choices...often we create the circumstances in life by the choices WE make. There are consequences to everything we do and say. Even God cannot change the past...but we can change our future by choices we make today.
So yes, taking a long hard look at ourselves and becoming more self-responsible for the cause and effect of what we do absolutely. So that is what I think...you asked and now you have my perspective.
Good topic thanks for posting it.
