pen & paper or e-mail?

Hello, everyone. Do you have such an experience that you attempted to write something wordy longhand but started hand aching in the first couple of paragraphs, and finally you had no patience to finish it? It seems all young people no longer, or at least seldom, write with pen and paper. I appreciate the quick, cheap and convenient way of communication, such as e-mail, though, I still admire the art of handwriting and love the pleasure of receiving a handwritten letter from an old friend of mine.
