The tear would be more moving and more powerful for me, because tears are harder to fake than smiles. I work with the public, which means I smile many times a day, whether I feel like it or not.
I cry when I am truly in love, or when I am truly happy, or truly sad. Also, I don't cry in front of just anyone, so if someone sees me cry, or if I cry for or because of them... it is special, not easily given away to everyone like a smile.

Bala,
It's neither of the two or both, for me, depending on the circumstance.
If it's a fake smile and a crocodile's tear then neither will work and if the two are coated with earnesty then, I guess both will work wonders.
By the way, a insinuating smile, even though not earnest coming from a mesmeriser is deadly!! So, be careful, bala.

Those are two different types of power and I do not know if I am able to compare.
The power of my child smiling is an amazing feeling that has me smiling all day at work with just the thought of his sweet smile.
But then I would also be torn up in the same effect should I see a tear.
So, for two totally different reasons, they are both powerful and I can not choose.

A light smile.A drop of tear falls and thats it.A smile,no matter how light it is,has the power to uplift your spirit and makes the onlooker(others) smile too.A drop of tear is like a dark cloud which can only make you wet and cold when it melts and smile is like a bright sunshine spreading warmth and life across the globe.

A smile is more powerful than a drop of tear. Its a small curve which makes many things straight. So its indeed powerful. lol..

It will depend upon the circumstances and situations, in some of the situatins, when someone is annoyed with the other fellow a drop of tear would be more powerful than the smile. And if someone is meeting another fellow for the first time, a light smile would do the trick.
For me, my smile will be powerful in most of the occasion.
Have a great day!

Hi & Hello, balasri.
I am sorry for my delay in responding to your discussion as I am having my mylot 'loading page problem' and 'The connection has been reset', where I can type my response texts but unable to post it. And cannot use 'mylot contact us' facility.
COME BACK to your subject of discussion, I think a light smile is more powerful compare to a drop of tear. Every answer must has its own base facts. As matter-of-fact, it counts the number of nerves used in that particular reaction made by human.
Just like the intelligence measurement, the ratio of weight; brain is to spinal cord's vertebra(not vertabrae). Human is 50:1 and dolphin for 40:1.
Happy Postings and Earnings, balasri.
HAPPY DAPPY.

Actually, I do not know. For some people, drop of tear is more powerful and for some, a light smile or a big smile is also more powerful. but I guess, it depends on the person. but for me, i think a smile is more powerful than a drop of tears. a smile from another person will help me forgot my problem for the meantime. and that smile will also encourage me to smile. and it is a big thing for me to smile. that's all.

I have no idea what you want to say.
as a women,I think tears is her most efficent weapon.
as a man,no tears ,just blood.maybe a light smile .
as a child, tears can help him to do a lot of things.for example buy a toy which his/her parent don't want to pay for it.
as a ......
too many situations.
