I shall be thankful if any members advise me on the following on PAYPAL REQUIREMENT. While filling the form of BANK ACCOUNT INFORMATION OF PAYPAL, they are asking "WHAT IS YOUR "IFSC - Paypal also given an example as "ALLAD123456". Would any member advise me what is this and how it should be filled up.

If you're from India you need this code to transfer money in and out of your account. Call your bank to get the code. And IFSC stands for Indian Financial System code.Good luck with getting the code.

It's been a long time since I signed up.
Have you tried googling it, sometimes you find others who have asked the same question and the answer right under it or on the other hand paypal should have a "what's this" or some way of locating the details for those who are unsure.
Goodluck finding out,

Even i was wondering what would be this IFSC code. After i surfed the net and i found out what is it. IFSC is a unique code which would be given to each and every bank branches. If you have a look at your cheque books, it would have the 11 digit code, which would be like IFS:SBII..... or IFSC: hdf..... Depends on the bank. To know better, call teh customer care center and ask them, they will give it to you. But you need to know, in which brnach you have the bank account.

I've been a member of Paypal for years and never heard of IFSC. Maybe it has something to do with international accounts but whatever the case if I were you I would email them or call them to ask what it is. Good luck.
