Wasim Jaffer performance

Well, obviously he is elegant and stylish and he has scored centuries against all the international teams he has played in test matches . What remains to be seen though is how he handles pacers like Lee on bouncy Aussie tracks.He sure has earned his place in the side touring Australia.

I think Wasim Jaffer is a very good test player. He is very solid. Wasim Jaffer has also scored five hundereds in his short span of career. I am also looking forward to see his performance tomorrow. I think most probably he will complete 200. I think he can give a solid start, which the middle order players can utilize. I am looking forward to see him do well in the Australian series.

yes he played a very good knock and prove that he is a quality opening player for the Indian team and he will continue to open. The only batsmen who has not scored a good score is kartik and I personally feel he is not suited for the opening slot. He does not have the technique needed to open the batting on a test match. It would be available good option to take gambhir as an open the instead of him because he is informed and also he pays regular opener. Specially when we are touring Australia I think we should have a professional opening batsman instead of him because the bowlers in Australia can easily picked up kartik with his faulty technique is an opening batsmen. He is a very good batsmen for the middle order but not a good option for the opening slot. And you know that when you are playing against a team like Australia each and every wicket is priceless and you have to grab all the opportunities you get because they won't be coming in groups.

I also wish to Jafar could complete make 200 runs in the second match and first match of the year and give a gift to Indian. But Jafar could succeed only one time out of India when he made 190 nearabout runs. Thereafter he couldn't get succeed. So Jafar has to perform his best.
