In my family there is an on going fight about cars and which is better Ford or Chevy? What do you think?

In all honesty, I am unfamiliar with Chevy's, living in Oz (Australia), but to sort it out for myself, I would go to a repair mechanic, one that does both Chevy's and Ford's. I would ask the repair person to please show me the Differential and the Gearbox gears for both vehicles. The one that had the chunkiest, biggest teeth on the gears and cogs would be my best bet. That would answer my questions as to power train capabilities, you then have body workmanship and quality to consider, these vary often with model and construction technique, and the materials used as in paint for example. I am sure there are a few more things you probably should consider, but it also may depend on where your heart lays. You might just love one to bits, umm, just because. :-)

From past experience, I would have to say Chevy's are much better cars. I owned one Ford and it was a disaster waiting to happen. The a/c leaked on the passenger's feet each time I made a left turn. I owned 2 Cavalier's over the years and most recently a Camaro. Was completely satisfied with each car's performance. My vote is for Chevy.
