i had my first one when i was 19. i don't regret having her but at the same time i would not recomend someone having a child at that age as much as we think we are ready to take care of a another human life at 19 years old there is still some growing up to do in ourselves and sometimes people are never ready to have kids

but on a more general aspect age should not matter as long as u have the energy and love to take care of ur child

I was 19 when our first child was born. I had our second one two years later. I am glad that we had our kids young. I lost four to miscarriage. So we are really thankful for the two we were able to carry full term and raise

I was 18, nearly 19.
Jakes born a few days before my birthday and then at the time it was a really nice present. I know a lot of people who are younger and have them for not the right reasons, it's good to become a family but these days to many rush it before the foundations are stable enough to support it.

I was 22 when I had my first and I had my second daughter the day after my 29th birthday. And now I have a wonderful man in my life that has a daughter that will be turning 14 Christmas Day, it's like being a mom all over again, my daughters are 19 and 26, and his daughter just adores my oldest. By the way he was 31 when his daughter was born.

I was 30. I had planned to have a baby by the age of 25. As a teenager I swore to myself that if I wasn't married and able to have a child by the time I was 25 I would have myself artificially inseminated. As it turned out I WAS married, but couldn't get pregnant. I was married to that man for 6 years and never got pregnant. There was a reason for that. He was not the right person to have a child with. Six months after he left I found myself pregnant. I was alone, but I was pregnant. Good news or bad news? I told my father it was a "pleasant surprise".
I am 45 now and my daughters are 14 and 11. My husband's sister is going to be a grandmother. Her 20 year old daughter is pregnant. My husband's sister is, well, she's 45 - the same age as me. Kind of weird to think about it. I could actually be a grandparent had I started earlier. I wouldn't have wanted to have a baby after 40 (though the yearnings were still there up until recently).
I think things worked out just right.

I was almost 22 years old when I had my first son. He was born a few days prior to my birthday. :)
My mom had her first child (my only sibling) when she was 32, I believe. I'm too tired to do the math. :P She had me when she was 34. She wanted to have kids sooner than this, but it wasn't meant to be, I suppose.
Like you, my husband also wishes he had kids when he was younger. Though it's mainly because he gets teased at work for having kids later in life. He was 30 when our first born arrived into this world.

I had my kids when I was 16, 18, and 21... we grew up together, and have never had serious relationship problems. And I was young enough to be able to keep up with them... we were ALL full of energy then!LOL!
