Yup. Our dogs definitely do that. They sleep at the foot of the bed, between us, etc. But we have to make sure we get in bed first otherwise we may find ourselves sleeping contorted or not having a place to sleep period! We now make sure they are the last in bed so they respect their place - that we decide when its time for bed and we actually have enough room!

My dog isn't allowed to sleep in my bed at nights, he's got his crate for that, but at days he loves to take naps either curled up on my pillow or stretched out like it's all his bed.

No, we are very mean to our dog, not only is he not allowed on the bed, he's not allowed on the furniture either. :-(
He's a 45lb dog, so he takes up quite a bit of space, which is why we decided to train him this way. He does sneak onto the loveseat in the front room when we're not home sometimes. I have no idea why he chose that as the piece to break the rules for, except that is the piece we sit on the least, so he thought maybe we wouldn't mind?

We have a toy poodle and she always sleeps with us curled up by our feet, under the covers, propped on the pillows and sometimes wedged in the middle. We laugh sometimes at how something so small can take up so much bed becuse we have woken up and have had to move her over for some room of our own,LOL. We wouldn't change a thing.

No, though I am certain she'd like to. Our dog has a large doggie pillow kept on my side of the bed. But at first morning light or when the alarm goes off( which ever comes 1st) she is at my hubbys bedside. Whining licking jumping. As with my daughter my cat and the dog all are daddys lil girls. lol

Our dog doesn't sleep in our bed, but she does sleep in my son's. He is the only one who will let her and she loves it. He is small so she is able to hae lots of room to stretch out. The odd time if he has left toys out I will let her into my room, but she has to sleep on the floor.

Our foster dogs usually get to sleep on the bed the first night they are with us. It depends on their personality, though. If they are very dominant right from the beginning they do not get on the bed. The shy ones we like to try to get bonded to people, so we let them sleep on the bed. It only lasts an hour or two, though, before I have them go on the floor. My bed is just too small!

My dogs don't but my cats do. My dogs are good about sleeping on the floor next to the bed. If I get up at night, I have to tip toe around the animals as not to step on one.
