Eating out prices!!!!!!!!!!!

Today my husband and I did something we so rarely do that we were shocked. We bought lunch at a fast food place! We don't much care for eating out anyway, and when we do---------our favorite place is a buffet for one price place. It cost us MORE for a burger each, one order of fries and two shakes than if we had gone to our favorite place.!!!! Besides telling each other that we will never go to fast food again--we are so wondering why people go to them at all. It was not all that fast, nor was it very good.

I don't really mind fast food and I can tell you that it is more for the younger generation whose taste buds have not evolved yet. A lot of it hast to do with marketing also. One of the things that I like about it, that kids probably prefer also. Their food is dry and not fresh and soggy like mother makes it.

lolol, not like mother would make at all. The 'hamburger' patty was not more than a quarter of an inch thick!!! I think the tomato slice was thicker. It really was pretty tasteless.
