Are You Accepting Friend Requests From Bands?

I've been maintaining my myspace account for 4 years already and i noticed thst i keep on receiving invites from bands and i'm a bit irritated arg! Just found out that there is already an option if you want to accept a friend request from them or not.
How about you?

yes i also have gotten request from singer and bands i just deny them. they just want to show off what theyre doing not make friends.

I deny them too- unless I know them from my area and they are my friends, too. I don't really want a no name band hocking their wares on my page! :)

If you had a decent sound or song that you felt people would respond to, wouldn't you try and contact as many potential listeners as you could, some who may become good friends with, if you had the opportunity which mySpace gives ? If you don't accept them that is fine but at least listen to some of their cuts, perhaps you might find something you like. It helps the band and it gives mySpace a really good positive foundation for everyone to share their piece of the pie--which aren't we all trying to get a slice of ???

It really depends on the music and my mood.
I always go to their profile and check it out.
If I like their music then I try to promote them or whatever.
But I do normally like myspace friends that actually talk to me =P

I accept requests from musicians only if i like them/their music. I'll gladly add them and spread the word about them, to support their musical art if I like them.
