there is a strong case in these agruements
- guitar hero has better guitar
- rock band has drums
- guitar hero has halo music
- rock band has better music
- rock band has mics
- guitar hero costs less
you decide....

I will defiently be keeping an eye on this discussion. My son has asked for guitar heroes III for christmas. But with the release of Rockband I do not know which one to buy. So anyones opinion on this would be appreciated. Even though I did not start this discussion I will keep an eye on it to see what everyone thinks is better

for your son, i suggest rock band because it has multiple instruments to play plus it is great when having friends over. despite its price tag, it is definetly worth it.
