what are those stars you have above your pictures

ok ive noticed people have stars above their picture or next to their numbers and i was wondering what are they. how hard is it to go up another level. does it mean you get paid more for replying to messages and stuff. can someone explain this for me because i am lost with this and the faq's page isnt very helpful with this

Welcome to myLot. you will also get a star once you reach 100 posts. The star is your rating here on myLot. Whenever you open a discussion or reply to someone else's, others can rate you with the + and -. So if you give good responses the higher your number will be.

ok i get that part now but what is so great about having youur number high do you get paid more or what i really mean is what perks do you get for having a high leveled star. if you get paid more then about how much more do you get paid than i get paid because i only get paid $0.01 per post. DO YOU GET PAID MORE THAN THAT?

that sucks so were always going to be paid a penny for each post becuase i thought the site said that you get paid more when you give good replies and just be an active ember
