In India, we have a season called the 'Monsoon'. that is a period of rains...
Rains that wash away the dust, grime and heat...
Rains that bring a new lease of life to sun-scorched life (plant and animal)...
Rains that bring the farmers joy...
and Rains, that I enjoy with my closest of friends.

i am born during the spring season and i love everything about it. the warm air, the mild sun, the nature coming back to life, and the surroundings who seem to be painted by some picasso ... at first it's all a little grey, then green appears all over-in the grass and the trees, then white, pink, yellow in tree's and grass's flowers then it all brightens when the sun is added

I love winter- it energizes me to see snow. the way the light changes when sun reflects off snow- its a whiteness that affects me in such an upbeat way- that I feel in love with life whenever it happens.
For years I've lived in areas where it either doesn't snow or seldom snows, and it drives me nuts. I usually put a screen saver on my computer that shows a snowy scene.
I remember something from my earliest childhood- we lived on a cobblestone street-and there were still some horses in use. during the 2World War- cars were up on blocks and various locals used horse drawn carts for awhile. It snowed one night, and I could hear the horses sounding like they had slippers on, the muffled sound of their hooves- was from the snow. My bedroom window was covered with lacey ide patterns. I feel in love with winter that morning. the hush, the whiteness and the soft shape everything had mounded with snow.
