My cat is gray and white and he is very sweet. During the winter his fur is long and he becomes fat and he does nothing but sleeps on the sofa. What about your cat. PS. And I forgot he eats and eats and keeps an eye on the fridge.

my cat (sam) is black with a few grey hairs on his back, when he was younger, he was totally black... but he got a skin condition a little like dermatitis and he scratched awat some fur from his back, when it grew back, it was grey.
he loves to go out, even in winter, but that may be down to the fact that he isn't neutred and likes to go out and find the "ladies" lol. he eats loads and loves to get treats like pieces of chicken or fish (hehe, spoiled or what!).
when he sleeps, he cuddles upto the dog on the landing near the radiator (loves to keep warm).
he also has a thing about trying to cuddle up to my partner, this wouldn't be so bad, except my partner is allergic to cats LOL!

it's really strange how cat always goes to the one who doesn't want her. Few years ago I had the best cat ever that I loved very much.Anyway, my mother didn't like cats at the time (now she does but then she didn't, I think that cat made her like cats) and my cat was always sleeping in our living room and he liked sleeping in someone's lap. My mother hated to see us with the cat in our lap and she didn't want him near her but he was very persistent and he was always going to see if my mother changed her mind when she was sitting on the sofa. He tried all possible ways to get in her lap and she hated. But eventually she got use to it and he wanted to sleep only in her lap.

LOL yeah, mine are fattys, too....my older cat just turned 5 in August, and he's a long hair solid gray cat with a tiny patch of white on his chest, and the younger one, who just turned 4 in September is a creamy brown colored tabby, with a white chest, and some pretty cool looking spots on him, but those show up more in the summer, when he loses his winter coat all over my house!!!

my boyfriend and i just got our kitten this past tuesday night and we already love him lots. he's really cute. it's kind of hard to describe what he looks like though.. i'll try though.. he's half white and then has a big area on his back that goes to his tail and then on his head that is brown/black/white. it reminds me of a raccoon. black stripes. then his tail is stripes of white, black, and a mixture of white, black, and brown with a white tip.
that's confusing..haha.
here, a link to a picture of him..

It's so funny how they get into a routine with the food! I have two cats, both female. My buddy is a sophisticated looking black cat (she has good posture, is the most alert and intelligent animal I have ever met, the stories could go on for days, and very pointed ears) with one white hair on her chest. She is amazing. The other is a rather funny-looking tortoise-shell female. Her name is Tinkerbell and she is chubby (and has big bones) and clutzy and afraid of heights. Her first six years she thought she was a dog, and she would play fetch and didn't purr, and now she is a lovebug who gets so happy she has to bite people whenever they laugh! Sometimes, she gets lost on her way to her water dish! Does your cat let you share the sofa with him?

My cats are either orange or orange and white. I made the mistake (hehehe, it wasn't really a mistake) of giving them a saucer of half & half once, and now I can't go into the kitchen without one or all of them pestering me for more of the same. I have now got them very used to it and they drink more cream than I use in my coffee and tea... which is a lot since I like those beverages very sweet and very white. That's why I have to brew my coffee so strong.)
And the little kitty that I told you about in the other post who just returned from a 3 month wilderness adventure, follows me into the kitchen every time I go in there begging for something - trying to put her weight back on I think. She has to eat most of whatever I'm eating as well; she even ate half my bowl of creamed spinach and broccoli. Tonight I found one thing she won't eat though, and that is curried rice and peas (I ate all the chicken out of it).
