How did you propose or get proposed to?

Mine wasn't real romantic or anything. It was only the second day that we were kind of together. The night before he had shown up at my door at about 1am. We just sat up talking all night then both went to work the next day. After work we went back to my apartment and ordered pizza. We were goofing around and he just suddenly started talking about how we were going to get married and have kids. At first I thought he was just joking but he seemed so serious. So I asked if he was proposing to me (I mean we had only known each other for about a month and a half and had only been a "couple" for a day). He said he was if I wanted to be with him forever. It was crazy. We were married almost exactly 7 months later. We will celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary in January and we have 4 children now (first one was born just 5 months after our wedding).

My husband took my dad and my younger brother out to dinner and asked permission. Then he came to my house and called me and begged me to come out of bed and see him. So I did and he proposed to me in the hallway with my pajamas on and no make-up. He got on his knee and asked me to be his bride forever.

Wow, that's really sweet! I'm not engaged, but I'll tell you a co-worker's story. It was Christmas-time and her boyfriend said he wanted to show her something outside. It was nighttime, so she yelled at him, because she thought he was being crazy. Finally, he begged her enough to go outside, so she did and in Christmas lights, he had written "Will you marry me?" on their roof!!! Needless to say, she felt bad for yelling at him! haha
