Have you had success with container vegetable gardening? I am going to give this a shot this year and am having a blast looking at old seed catalogues, etc. Right now I am going to get a Meyer Lemon and also try growing tomatoes, peppers, hot peppers, watermelon, and peas or beans. What do you grow?

Ive been conatiner gardening for years. I do herbs mostly, but also do varous things like potatoes, tomatoes, peppers and more. Its actually really easy. Herbs sit well on the counter and other veggies can be placed all over the house, gives it a good feeling.
Here is a link to where i wrote about container gardening with some tips :)

I have three tomatoe bushes in pots that are just starting to ripen, I did have radishes and baby beetroot which I grew from seeds but they didn't come to much, I think I got about three radishes and they were so tiny it wasn't worth the water I used on them, I love the little tomatoes, I just go out and pick a couple to eat, they are just so sweet.

I have a regular garden so I don't use containers to grow vegetables. I do use containers to grow water plants such as lotus. water lilies, and other aquariums plants out doors in the summer. This spring (early) I am going to buy some grow lights and start my own seeds inside so that I can have a better variety of vegetables than just going to the stores and buying what they offer.
