New movie following "Harry Potter"

Do you know anything about the new similar movie (with a little girl) which will follow the steps of Harry Potter plot, and will also be a trilogy?

I've never heard about anything like that. If anything, it's probably just a fan-made story. J.K. Rowling has said that she doesn't plan on writing any more Harry Potter books (though she doesn't want to say never.)
Anyway, even if a new movie comes out, it probably won't be written by JK Rowling. I don't see how the girl can follow the footsteps of Harry Potter as the ending of the last book was pretty conclusive.

I read about a new movie, similar to Harry Potter, which more or less has similar plot,(a child who fights the evil forces etc..) but this time it's a girl. This is also based on a book series but I am not quite sure if its J.K. Rowling's..

This is based on the "His Dark Materials" trilogy by Philip Pullman.

it's about the only thing I think you could remotely be talking about that's "similar to harry potter but with a girl"
I doubt there is anything that follows the steps of Harry Potter, more like things that are just similar.
