When did the Heat become Ghetto...or is it the NBA in general?

Last evening I attended the Heat - Celtics game. The celtics won, of course. I am originally from Boston and just moved to South Florida, so this was a new experience. So we get to the game, only to hear this booty thumping, base driven music. It was good, it had a beat. Then the DJ shows up on the screen..the "best DJ in the NBA" as he claims. This was followed by more entertaining women shaking their butts to some music by this guy. The strange part is, the music never stops at this game. So I look around and while I agree this is the Miami culture, it is not the target audience of the Miami Heat. When I looked around, I see a bunch of mid 30's and 40 year old men taking their wives and kids to the game. But maybe the brader NBA is really meant for that 20-something hip hop crowd. It seems like tastes really change over time...what do you think?
