TV game shows teach Filipinos how to be dependent, lazy and day dreamers...

Who would not remember the tragedy it caused at the Ultra? Now, its pushing millions of Filipinos to stand in line just to secure tickets or gate pass from the different TV networks offering game shows. What is so pathetic is that, even oldIES from remote provinces are even hopefuls and trying to flex their muscles under the heat of the sun just to secure entries. I am also reminded when I was still working in a call center, with business operations at ELJ Corporate Center, as early as 2am while my officemates were just starting to enjoy our first 15 min break, too many were standing in line along Mother Ignacia. It was a mix emotions, I remember. Now tell me, would you feel for advertising sponsors, TV network(s) or our beloved kababayans, instead of getting some good sleeps and prepare themselves for a wonderful day to do something better...there, waiting, sleeping along the streets just to be a millionaire?!? Or are we really hopeless that it's hightime we address these call again to our government?!

Seeing many people - regardless of age, standing under the heat of the sun, just to enter free in either of the 2 TV rival network in the Philippines, ABS CBN & GMA is a great indicator that many people depend their lives on luck.
