I know there is a specific condition of OCD where people have a very serious need to do certain things.
Some people may joke that they're "OCD" about doing a certain thing. I was wondering if anyone has any OCD issues or if they're just "OCD" about doing any one thing?

I have "ocd" not just about one thing about a lot of different things but I've improved greatly over the years. Some new ocds pop up and some have gone away. When I was in high school I had to put my deotorant on over and over all day long because I was so paranoid I would sweat and smell. So I would put it on so much that it would cake up and clump up horrible under my armpits even though it was supposed to not leave residue or anything lol. I would go through about a bar of deodorant each week. It was horrible. And the only thing that stopped my ocd was situation change. I got out of high school and while working I oculdnt put it on all the time it wouldnt have been acceptable to work in a hospital and do that all the time so I was forced to stop. I still carry around a bar of deotorant in my purse but I only use it once a day. Its like I just have to have it with me though because if not I feel like im going to freak out and need it. It wasent just deodorant though as I know that doesnt keep one from sweating what I always used was anti-persiprant.

I have to enter or exit through doors with my right foot first. I also have to put shoes or socks on right foot first. I really don't know why. There's no logic to it, I just can't seem to help it.
I can also only ever pick up coins if they're "heads". If they aren't I have to flip them over first and then pick them up. Wasn't fun when I worked as a cashier!
I'm sure I have a few other foibles. Most people do. I do know some people with really bad O.C.D. though. It practically runs their lives. Have you ever seen the film "As Good As it Gets"? That's not an exaggeration!
