why o why???

Hey the guys too get depressed for gals , take my case , I am In love with my best friend , but I have never confessed ,because I know I can't get her , as due to societal pressure , still I love her a lot , I sometimes get depressed because she gets upset or sad , due to the hard goings in her life.

Its easy to say don't cry over him he is not worth it you deserve better but we all know that it's easier said than done because if we like or love someone we want him or her to love us back. That's normal. i don't think that guys who make girls suffer are all jerks. Sometimes you just don't feel the same for the other person, the same he or she feels for you so you can chose between your happiness or the other person's happiness. But I doubt I'd be happy knowing that he is with me but he doesn't love me and just doesn't wanna hurt me. The person who doesn't love us is not right for us. I believe there's a macth for everyone but we just need to find it

You know you are right in saying are any men worthy of being depressed over and yet we all still do it, we never learn, you know those words "are they worthy" has made me feel a little better about a situation I am in right now...no no one is worthy of doing this to anyone.... thanks keillynn for waking me up....

I guess it's not a matter of is it worthy to feel depressed with a guy rather thatn is it worthy to feel depressed for a person, coz there are truly good guys out there,but it doesn't happen to meet them all the time, in fact u should feel thankful if u met one or two during ur whole life..if those go away for some reason I guess u should feel reaaaaaaly depressed, if the other bad guys went away then u should be thankful not depressed.

Getting too much emotional and worrying negative things are main leads for depression

I guess you already know the answer when you started this discussion. You probably feel frustrated that you are depressed over a guy yet know that you should not be doing so. :-) Although it is hard for us to control our hearts, we should try not to be led by it either in times like this. Try to do some meaningful activity that will help you get over it. Cheer up.

The same on the other side...I was so depressed when my only GF and I broke up , but I realized I should not be depressed, but happy for each moment we spent together, because I am not a handsome or pretty guy, and I don't get to many girls, in fact, she was my first. Now we are good friends.
