Have you ever apologized for something you didn't do?

No I haven't apologised although there have been times when I have said"I'm sorry you're upset","I'm sorry you feel that way" but not apologised when I believe I am in the right or alternatively have done nothing wrong.
Sadly there have been a couple of times over the years when I have had to 'eat humble pie' because it later turned out I was wrong. LOL

I've done that more than once myself. Thanks for the answer.

Nope, If I didn't do it I ain't going to admit to it. It would be a lot easier if I did. I once endured the silent treatment (which wasn't all that bad) because I won't change my opinion or take the cop for someone elses mistakes.

Don't feel bad, I do it too, that's why I asked. LOL

LOL! I was married twice. I've apologized loads of times just to end a fight - or to prevent one. I find myself doing that with certain members of my family, too. Sometimes it's just easier than dealing with an argument.
