trillanes has done it again. this time he managed to take his followers to a five star hotel in the heart of manila's business district.
even though i turned 18 before the elections and the people around me forced me to vote for my senators, i did not give in since i am not a registered voter yet. but if ever i got the chance to vote, i guess i would vote for trillanes.. that was me then. since he repeated his rebellious act, i'm starting to think of his capabilities as a senator.
before, i'd vote for him because he, in my opinion, would change this country for the better. i believe that he would like to change this country with the oakwood mutinee that happened before. but one is many. he did it again this time in manila peninsula. my gosh. to the people who'll be reading this: this is just my opinion. but i am starting to think that he is just causing more trouble than what the country can handle. sad..
few years back, they went to oakwood and their purpose was to spread some information and to open the eyes of the citizens about the current government. i think that it was for some worthy cause. but what happened to oakwood now? they changed their name to ascott since most people wouldn't dare check in that hotel anymore.
what'll happen to manila peninsula now? if ever they'll be changing their name, that'll be weird for me because ever since, i have acknowledged that hotel to be manila peninsula, a beautiful site around makati.

Tsk tsk Trillanes. Maybe Trillanes and his group's real plan is to scare away investors once again...Seeing how PGMAS doing great with the Philippine economy (urk, just my opinion)... well they hate her so much they had to do something to pull her down and ruin her vision of economic progress that was already starting (erk, my opinion again quit arguing).
But wrong move, who would want to join them? What the Filipino people want is PEACE, not more of I don't know what I should be callign their crap.
Sorry Manila Peninsula... but I bet they won't be changing their name. They're part of political history now ;P

I agree with you 100% witchysoul,Trillanes did scare a lot of investors and I personally am a victim. Most of my prospective investors suddenly did not want to talk to me anymore. They have stopped responding to my emails just when the talks we've been having was already in the closing stages, and all this is due to a cowardly act of a senator who was trusted by 11M Filipinos. We want peace and the only way we could achieve this is by being economically prosperous.I believe PGMA is an excellent financial manager.Just look at our peso,it is growing stronger everyday. The budget deficit has been reduced drastically. We may not feel its effects right now, because what she is doing now is just laying the foundations for a better economy. It will be up to the next Presidents to continue her work.As to Manila Pen,it is sad,but I dont think they will change their name like Oakwood did.

Based on the the reports Manila Pen did resumed business again a few days ago and was quite surprised that they did have their regular clients back to them. I guess I would not change the name since it still is holding its name as it is. The incident just gave some bad name to it but then I think it would not cause anything to change its name just to hide something negative that happened to their hotel. It is but sad for Trillanes' plight now that he done it again the second time. I also am sad now that no one not even a single prominent oppositionist went there to support his cause/fight(except of course ex VP Guingona). It just shows that despite opposition leaders are not favouring Trillanes' plans to overthrow the government via extra constitutional means. I do hope that this will never happen.

Yes. He has done it again. He said that if he will be elected as senator, he'll attempt to oust GMA. Now, that's not being a politician. If you want to be part of the senate, you must think about the changes that must be made for the country. What he did is to get the attention of everybody. Does he think that he can do it the second time around? Maybe the third time, he will still fail.
During that day, i planned to go to Glorietta. But my parents called me that I should go home quickly because a hideous act was done again(I was surprised that it was the same guy before). They told me that bullets were already fired at the Manila Pen. I thought a war emerged around Makati (at first, I was worried about my parents because they were working at Ayala. They were 10 blocks away from Manila Pen). I realized that, this will give the whole country another negative impression to other countries. Maybe this incident is really a major call to the government especially to the president. After the Glorietta bombing, Batasan Bombing, now this a huge bomb for the country(even the ULTRA Stampede was not yer solved). Our stocks are doing good this quarter. How come this Trillanes guy attempted AGAIN to do it. What the hell is wrong with him?!?
i don't think that the management of the Manila Pen will change their name. But still, there is a possibility. The Oakwood mutiny a few years ago was a scary one. We faced tanks and rifles along our way home. That really shook their management. So what they did, they changed the name Oakwood to ASCOTT (not sure of the name). Maybe the Manila Pen will also do that.
(Oh yan. Mahaba yn ha. Tlgang hinabaan ko to khit my ginagawa ako dito. hahahahaha!!!!! Kanina nga lng nung first subject ko, pumasok ung isang kaklase nmin na may suot na jacket. Nagmukha syang si trillanes. hahahaha!!!!)

Yup he's done it again! Its absolutely nuts! I mean everyone has complaints or wants changes for our country and we cant all do that overnight!
Is that the solution he would want to propose? He is a senator and being a "lawmaker" he should have respect for the law not break the law. If he has complaints and I bet he has loads of them, well no one is holding him back if he wants to express them in a proper forum! Is that the example he wants younger people to emulate: "Let's Rebel and Youll be famous, you'll even have a shot at being a senator??"If he wants changes, he better do it another way. Im beginning to doubt them already, is this really for a cause or they just want limelight? to be talked about? hmmm
