I have read 'waiting for Godot' several times. Yet I could not understand the paly. The play is patterned bare, dream landscape and setting, and absence of plot, combine and reinforce the emptiness or purposelessness of man's existence. The paly has no beginning or no end. Totally absurd. I don't know why the play is so famous? Will you please explain?
