Do you buy christmas gifts for your pets?

You're not alone, we wrap toys for our cats, and I wrap toys or treats for my dog. And everyone always rips up their own presents as well, and, typically, they're good at waiting :)

Hello gizmoshere2. I never tried giving christmas gifts to my pets, but I did give my pet cat a toy on an ordinary day.

We have a cat and a dog. No Ion't buy special preasants for them but my granddaughter that lives with me does. They even have thier own special stocking. she gets them toys bones and treats. I get them these things year round but not for Christmas.

I always bought my dog, Petey, one of those little doggy shirts b/c he was always cold and I'd get him special treats and bones. He passed away last year so this year I'll be buying for our cat, Morgana. I'm planning to get her a really nice food and water bowl with a mat that says princess that I saw in the store and some special kitty treats. They are part of our family so of course I'll get her a gift. MERRY CHRISTMAS!! **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

Nope, you are not the only one, my dog will have a gift under the tree,and her stocking will be full. She also gets gifts from my daughter, who bought her this huge doggie cookie, from a dog bakery (in the picture), and she will be getting a gift from my mom. My sister also buys gifts for her two dachsunds, as well as my daughter buying gifts for her two dogs, and stocking stuffers for each.

hi there gizmoshere2 i have not bought gifts for my cats but i will give gifts this year for my two cats and the kitten but first are my kids and family to get christmas gifts thanks for this discussion and happy postings

When money is not so tight we do, but we aren't going to this year.

All of mine get treats, presents and they all have their own stockings. All my animals have their own stockings. I think at last count, there were between 35 and 40 hanging on my wall. Crazy? Maybe. But I don't think so. NO different than having 15 kids and giving each of them presents and stockings. I just like my animals more. =)

Of course they are part of the family. Mine thinks I am the pet and he is the owner. If I forgot to give him a gift he would probably scratch me to peices. Happy Holidays
