Toddler wanders away from home, and drowns in a pond.

I can't believe this happened. what kind of parents would 1 leave the door open so the toddler wanders away from home or 2 why did they not see the toddler leave? I have a toddler and I always no where he is. I always watch him at home so he don't run outside and go into the street in front of my apartment afraid of him getting hit my a car. How did they not see their child leave home?

I know for sure. You have to watch the toddlers and little kids constantly. You just never now when their going to run outside and you never see them again. Their still learning about what its like to be alone. I think this is just one of the stories about parents who don't pay attention to their kids enough or aren't mature enough to take care of them. Some people in this world don't realize it's a big responsibility to have kids.
