I was wonder does anyone want they're discussion resolved. Doesn't that mean that its done? I don't think i want any of my discussions resolve because you never know when someone will have something good to say. What do you think?

I have never picked best answer because I wasn't sure if that would close my discussion. I don't want them to close I agree with you. You never know what someone else's answer will be in the future. thanks for asking this.

If you are talking about choosing the best response selected by user, I tend to wait quite some time and I don't mean hours or weeks. It may be months to find the exact type of answer I want to 'resolve my discussion', end it but also keep a train of thought going as long as I can. I leave mine for a while too so that the discussion is open. It doesn't mean it's closed but that the best response has been picked. That gives the person you pick a better rating. But I do like mine to stay open for a while.
