Oddly enough, yes I am in the christmas mood.
It might be because I feel in such a rush, needing to earn money quickly to buy presents (as I had not been able to shop all year long as I usually do)...I feel the pressure of excitement lol.
Normally, I wouldn't be in the christmas mood quite so early, nor would the tree be up, but it is and I'm feelin' it, heh.

Presents will probably be slim here too, despite my sincerest and hardest efforts to make it not so.
Not 'cause of debt so much as the fact that we've never been a rich family and the prices are higher than we've ever seen them.

Christians give a lot of excitement and respect for Christmas, i am a christian and I know christmas means alot for my salvation. I take it not so much for its festivities, but rather for the big meaning we derive from it. The birth of the Lord was the beginning of the end of my sins, yes am in the mood for christmas.

It really doesnt fill like christmas yet to me
I think that one reason is that I have always looked to christmas as the festivities rather than the true meaning and this year with all i have been through and my financial situation i am looking at it through a different light as the true meaning and not the gifts and santa stuff

No, I'm not. The tree just got put up yesterday and I haven't bought any gifts at all. Usually I'm pretty much done by now. I think I'll go do some shopping tomorrow so that I can get in the mood LOL
It doesn't help that we have no snow either... it doesn't even seem like winter yet it is still in the 70's in town (I live in the mountains so it's a little cooler here) during the day.
We've been trying to get our 3yo to remember what Christmas is and when we put the tree up last night his eyes lit up and said presents go under there! It was too cute.

No I can't say that I am in a very big holiday mood this year. My husband is not here, I am going to be going back to my parents home to celebrate, so decorating and all that really doesn't appeal to me. We have a very tiny tree up in the living room with my daughters gifts under it. My husband not being here really just takes all the festivities out of the holiday for me.
