I have this friend who at 77, single, yet happy. For one he has a lot of money. Second, he's gay and meets and mates a lot of cute guys. He tells me not to fall so easily. I would usually take his advice for he is a living testament ...an institution as we call him. He tells me to secure my future financially by saving. Looking at him and his life right now and in the thirteen years that i have known him...I would say that being single and always available is not all that bad...for as long as you have a lot of money!

This is my view. It is not much of a problem being single or being married. Each person has his/her own feeling of life.it is not just GOOD or BAD,RIGHT or WRONG.you may be in different cultural or social circumstances.you can do what you think right so long as not to disturb else. money can buy almost everything, but money is not happiness itself.

As you said, there's nothing wrong with being single. And there is also nothing wrong with being single and damn rich. Money is not happiness itself, but money can be a powerful tool in giving happiness and having the purchasing power of making yourself happy as well as others. I think it is always a must that if you are single, you must be financially stable to ensure a good quality of life. Thank you for your response and have a nice day.

hi!Ijust want to give you my own view of being single.of course it's not bad and nothing to loose if you would remain single for the rest of your life;but, you would miss a lot of things, you will not experience the the part of life which is the most challenging one.however,no two people are alike, maybe your friend is succesful because he knows how to handle of being single.but i would like to remind you also that it is sweet and happy for having to know someone cares for you and there is always someone to hold your hands and always on your side whenever you are in depression, and understand you.

My being single now is really not by choice. I maybe just haven't found the right one. It is quite hard to enter into a relationship and not know the person well. I have had my experiences in past relationships thats why I opt to choose first and let time decide if we are truly meant for each other, nonetheless, it is not too bad being single. It is less complicated and you only have yourself to please and support. Its just a matter of getting used to the idea. Thank you for your response and have a nice day.

I was single for years and I have to admit, I was lonely when I was single. I wanted someone to talk to, I wanted someone to love, who would love me back. Being single is very lonely.

I have to admit that being single has its struggles. But being single and having a few select real friends to be with makes the loneliness go away. It is sad that you have experienced this. I hope that now you are more open in socializing to meet new people and go to new places. Being single also has its advantages. Have a nice day and thank you for you response.

Well its not much of a problem being single.I mean we always say the merits of being with someone is that there is always someone to take care of you.But why does this person always have to be Romantic. If you have true friends even they ll help you in your time of need.So i guess being single beats being with someone especially since finding that right someone is freaking tough.

I would definitely agree with your last statement that finding that right someone is freaking tough. Sometimes is better to be free from any attachments, most especially if the person attached to you keeps on taking and never give back. Thank you for your response and have a nice day!
